Light A Birthday Candle Campaign
Thousands of vulnerable children rarely get to mark their birthdays.
The client
The 'Light A Birthday Candle' campaign is a great cause. It raises money to help Eastern and Central European children who are in institutionalised care.
The process
We were approached to build the site by Lumos' PR agency. Designs were already under way and they needed a web development agency to take the project forward. We worked with the designer to create a site that would fulfil the brief and be completed in time for the deadline. This was key as the campaign's activity was focussed around International Children's Day.
The finished article
The finished site came together very quickly. It allows people to light a candle, donate money and find out about the various people involved. We also built a simple Facebook profile page and integrated content sharing.
