The client
In a nutshell, Greeniversity is a site for people from Peterborough to get together and learn green skills from other local people who have skills they're willing to share.
Greeniversity offers a wide range of free courses taught by ordinary people. There are courses in how to grow your own vegetables, how to customise charity shop clothes, how to service your bike, and even how to insulate your loft.
The process
Greeniversity already had a site when they approached us, however it wasn't delivering. There were problems with the management of course data and encouraging users to participate.
We listened to the issues at hand and looked to produce a system that would not only address them, but result in a site that had all the functionality needed to make Greeniversity a great success!

The finished article
Since the new site launched, there has been a positive buzz around Greeniversity.
Upon registering on the site, users can create their own courses and choose to attend others. The system ensures that all criteria are met and the Greeniversity team are in complete control of what events are allowed and the venues they take place in.
In fact it has been such a success that they are looking to branch out with other areas of the country now interested in their own Greeniversity community.
